Research
MAS students must complete a thesis as a program requirement. The thesis topic is chosen by the students based on their academic or professional experience.
Research areas include: climate change impacts on water resources, integrated water resources management, nature based solutions, etc.
The thesis research takes place throughout the duration of the MAS program and is supervised by a senior scientist or professor.
The focus of the MAS thesis can be identified as follows:
- Research can address a relevant issue in the student's home country. For some examples, see abstracts of recent graduates or completed thesis topics.
- Research can be selected from the list of thesis topics of the Chair of Hydrology and Water Resources Management.
- Research can be chosen in collaboration with an external institution such as external page Eawag.
